Jeff Jarvis

Jeff Jarvis is a new-media guy. I like reading his blog.

Jeff was at ground zero on September 11, 2001. He got a bunch of that dust in his lungs I think. He did a couple of videoblogs about his 911 experience shortly thereafter. Way ahead of his time on videoblogs. But now they are here.

So as a marketer I can now take my product directly to the people without advertising. But really you still have to advertise if you want to make any money. But is that the sole purpose of being? To make more money and more money and more money?

Look at Ed Brown. He made more money than I would ever need. And look at him now. And as far as I can see he hasn't done anything against the law. Or anything wrong. What he has done is he has done the right thing. And look where that's gotten him. I don't blame he for how he feels.

But more than just marketing a product for profit without advertisers, we now also have the opportunity to market the truth without corporate and government censors. This is just as important and is even more important than what Jeff Jarvis is talking about.

Because if we move into some kind of society run by an out of conttrol criminal government, what good is it to be rich?

But one has to make a living it seems, I haven't found any way around that yet. Perhaps in the future.
