I play around with some special effects and talk about Ed Brown and the IRS.
When you put titles on the video you have to regrind it which takes some time. About 30 minutes in this case. And then the 15 minute video takes about 30 minutes to upload. Last night the upload encountered errors and was taking some additional time to process the video. I went to bed and just got this posted this afternoon. That's why the time I have on the video and the time I state that I am recording this video is different from the time posted.
I think we are definitely starting to see the beginnings of a totally new type of television. First there were the three big networks. Then cable TV where new stars were born like Super Dave Osborne. Now we have YouTube.
A big difference with YouTube is the two-way nature of the medium. Viewers can leave reader comments and talk directly to the host. Also it allows just about anybody to have their own television show, perhaps most notably and most sea-changing, elected officials.
I think it's pretty obvious that either elected officials will begin to do daily videoblog reports for the people and the people will be able to begin to watch their own elected officials on a daily basis and interact with them in the reader comments, or we will gradually or suddenly find ourselves in a total police state where individuals like myself are not even allowed to blog.
Ask your elected officials to start doing daily videoblog reports for you today.
